Char-Broil
Classic 405 4-Burner Liquid Propane Gas Grill
Alright,
the first one on our list is the Char-Broil Classic 405 4-Burner
Liquid Propane Gas Grill. This particular grill is, in fact, part of
their Classic
series
which is a line of durable grills.
First
of all, The Classic 405 is a large grill with a cooking space of
around 405 sq. in. of cooking space. That’s already large enough to
cook more than 12 hamburger patties. Furthermore, the grill has
around 4-Burners. Each one of them has 4 Stainless Steel Inline which
offer better high to low heat control. Char-Broil also brings in
their popular Piezo Ignition feature which can be used to start-up
the burners with ease.
Durability
wise, the Classic 405 is built out of Porcelain-coated steel which
may stand up against tough weather. So if you tend to leave this
outside after using, then this one may be for you. Other features
include two metal side shelves for preparation space.
There
are a few disadvantages, however. Since this is a 4-Burner grill, it
will consume a tank of liquid propane at a much faster rate however,
this mainly depends on the usage. The swing-away warming rack is
great to have but the 190 sq. in. space is a small one. Although it
has wheels at the bottom, it is not ideal for portability due to its
huge size.
Overall,
if you are looking for a grill that will be used at big homes and
large family gatherings or events, then the Char-Broil Classic 405
may be worth considering on your buying list.

Char-Broil
Classic 360 3-Burner Liquid Propane Gas Grill
The
Char-Broil Classic 360 3-Burner Liquid Propane Gas Grill is another
part of their Classic series. From the looks of it, a smaller, more
compact version of the Classic 405. It offers almost the same
features with a few changes which we are going to take a look at
here.
First
of all, the cooking space is slightly reduced from 405 to 360 sq. in.
but this is still big enough for many people. It only has 3-Burners
with Piezo Ignition instead of 4 but one of the side shelves are
replaced with a round 8000-BTU side burner which can be used for
cooking side dishes that require use of pots or pans.
The
disadvantages remain almost the same as the Classic 405 like the
consumption of liquid propane will be faster especially
with the added side burner on the Classic 360. However, this depends
on the user. The Swing-Away warming rack is reduced slightly from 190
to 170 sq. in.
Overall,
the Char-Broil Classic 360 3-Burner Liquid Propane Gas Grill is what
I recommend for many people who want a casual outdoor picnic right at
home. It is great to have it grilling for small to medium size family
events too.

Char-Broil
The Big Easy 3-in-1 TRU-Infrared Smoker Roaster & Grill
Next
up on our list is the Char-Broil The Big Easy 3-in-1 TRU-Infrared
Smoker Roaster & Grill. Unlike the first two grills which almost
similar to each other except the size, this one has a different set
of features.
It
is a 3-in-1 grill meaning it can to handle different types of cooking
techniques like grilling, roasting and smoking all at the same time.
Char-Broil has a unique feature here called TRU-Infrared Technology
which cooks the food evenly. What I like about this is that they
included a smoker box that allows you to add wood chips without the
need of opening the lid. This is a great feature to have for many who
loves roasting or smoking their food using their preferred wood
chips.
Design-wise,
it is smaller than the Classic series line that may be easier to
transport and carry around.
Like
every other grill here, there are some disadvantages that may be
worth noting. First off, the grilling area is smaller with 180 sq.
in. size. Another disadvantage that I find very inconvenient is that
it is required to open the lid plus remove the top grill to access
the roasting tray. Like the Classic series, it does require a propane
tank. I wished it was using charcoal instead so that it won’t be a
hassle to bring in another heavy tank.
Overall,
it is a great portable 3-in-1 grill. If you wanted to cook different
varieties of dishes all at the same time anytime and everywhere, this
is the one worth considering if you can come around with the
disadvantages it has. However, most of the features are really good.

Char-Broil
American Gourmet 18-inch Tabletop Charcoal Grill
The
Char-Broil on our list is the first one to be able to cook on
Charcoal instead of relying on a liquid propane tank. Right on the
get-go when I say that this one has some great features.
First
of all, the design is overall great. It is compact and portable which
makes this great for outdoor use anywhere. For portability, it has
two carry handles on each side which makes transporting much easier.
On the same side, it has an airflow control and on the other side is
a door that opens up to access the charcoal drawer for easy cleaning.
The
internal features, however, are also worth looking at. The cooking
area is OK
with
a cooking surface of 225 sq. in. which may
be
fine for people who do cooking outside. One of the most interesting
features that this one has is the ability to be attached as an offset
smoker for Char-Broil’s 625 and 840. That’s amazing if you
already have one of those then I highly recommend this one as an
addition.
A
minor disadvantage, however, is that the cooking area is smaller than
some here on this list which may not be ideal for a mass cookout. The
lid is required to open the lid to access the food that is cooking.
Overall,
this one in, particular, is compact, portable and gets the job done.
I think this is a great addition for many who does love to use
charcoal but cooks only for a medium to large-sized family.

Char-Broil
Portable Tabletop Charcoal Grill
The
Char-Broil Portable Tabletop Charcoal Grill is the basic
one here on this list. It is a charcoal grill with no advanced
features like Piezo Ignition, burners or temperature gauge.
The
cooking area is fairly small which is around 190 sq. in. It may be a
disadvantage for some people who are looking for something bigger but
for the majority is fine. Design-wise, it is compact and portable.
There are two legs stands on each side that can be folded away. It is
also durable that is made of quality steel construction.
Overall,
if you are looking for a simple and basic to use charcoal grill but
maintains a portable yet durable quality, this maybe the one worth
considering.

Char-Broil
TRU-Infrared Kettleman Charcoal Grill
This
is another grill that is worth taking a look at because of the
amazing features it has. Let’s start with the cooking features.
It
has a good cooking surface of around 360 sq. in. however, its unique
feature is the No-Fall-Through cooking grate which keeps the food on
top, prevents flare-ups and distributes heat evenly. There is also a
built-in temperature gauge on the lid of the grill which measures the
heat inside. I like this particular feature as I usually tend to look
at the temperature’s precise measurement.
Since
this grill uses charcoal, there is a dedicated ash pan for easy
cleaning which is amazing. The disadvantages however on this
particular grill lie up its big and heavy size. It is also not suited
to constant moving.
Overall,
this is a great grill feature-wise. I find this ideal for large
family gatherings where they prefer a large grilling party. Aside
from the weight and size, this is a formidable grill.

Char-Broil
Signature TRU-Infrared 325 2-Burner Cabinet Liquid Propane Gas Grill
Next
up on our list is what I think has some of the advanced features you
can find among the Char-Broil grills on this list. The Char-Broil
Signature 325 has a cooking surface of 325 sq. in. which is heated by
2 liquid propane gas-powered burners. These burners also have
TRU-Infrared & Surefire Electronic Ignition (similar to Piezo)
Systems which can ensure proper even heat and safe burner ignition.
That’s sure is some top class type of features. I find it to be
useful for many situations.
On
the lid itself, it has a temperature gauge. Design-wise, the grill
has two folding side shelves that also be equipped with an optional
side burner. Despite having so many advanced features, there are some
disadvantages too like it is heavy and can be expensive.
Overall,
if you are looking for a grill that has some of the unique and
advanced features like TRU-Infrared and Surefire Electronic
Technologies. This one may be for you. I do highly recommend this for
many enthusiast chefs who love grilling food.

Char-Broil
Performance 475 4-Burner Cart Liquid Propane Gas Grill-Stainless
The
Char-Broil Performance 475 may be the largest on this list. First of
all, the cooking area is, in fact, huge with 475 sq. in. of space
which is enough to serve grilled food for many. It is heated by
4-Liquid Propane Gas Burners. There is also a side burner which is
great for making side dishes or sauces while grilling. It can be
closed to be used as a side shelf instead.
What I like
about these burners is that they included the Electronic Ignition
System that is similar to the Piezo & Surefire. I like how
Char-Broil also included a greased pan for easy cleaning.
The
Design of the grill is, in fact, big and heavy. It is durable that is
made of stainless steel which is great if it is stored outdoors for
the most part. There is a temperature gauge on the top that many may
find useful. Although it has wheels on the bottom of the grill for
portability, it is heavy and big that some may find it hard to move
it around.
Overall,
if you are looking for a grill that is suited for your restaurant
that requires grilling dishes for many people, this may be worth
considering.

Char-Broil
American Gourmet 18-inch Charcoal Grill
This
one is the same as the previous Char-Broil American Gourmet 18-inch
Tabletop Charcoal Grill in many ways but we are going to take a look
at the differences between the two anyway.
First
of all, it is much bigger than its tabletop counterpart, having a
durable 1.5” tube legs with large side braces. It also got a pair
of wheels that may be helpful when transporting the grill in short
distances. It also has a side shelf for preparations. Other than
that, it is almost the same as the tabletop version.
If
the features that this one has like the side shelf is a need for you,
then, by all means, get this one. Other than that, the tabletop
version may be worth considering instead.

Char-Broil
Portable 240 Liquid Propane Gas Grill
Another
portable grill that is somehow similar to the Char-Broil Portable
Tabletop Charcoal Grill except that it requires a liquid propane gas
tank instead of charcoal to cook. I find this one to be a minor
disadvantage. This one, in particular, has a 240 sq. in. of cooking
space which enough for many. It has a sturdy yet durable build. There
is a lid-mounter gauge for measuring the great temperature.
Design-wise,
it is small and compact which is ideal for travel and outdoor use
anytime and anywhere. So overall, if you do require to use liquid
propane gas tank instead of charcoal but want a grill that is small
and compact, this may be the one worth considering.

Although
these amazing top 10 Char-Broil Grills are great for many people.
There may be some who still would lookout for more options that may
suit them. If you are one of them, I do suggest for you to look at
this helpful guide below. That may help you out in choosing the right
grill for your needs.
Before
buying a grill, it is best to know what are the types of grills that
the market offers. These types of grills depend on what you need and
where you want to use it. There are usually 4-Types of grills which
are:
1.Gas
Grills–
Requires a Liquid Propane Gas Tank for it to cook your food. It is
great for fast grilling for dishes. Most Char-Broil Grills like the
ones on our list belong to this category. Most of these are quite big
and heavy in size.
2.Charcoal
Grills–
This is a more traditional grilling style with a smoky flavor. It is
great for smoking and grilling. It is slower than a Gas Grill to
start up but it is worth the wait. Some of Char-Broil Grills belong
to this category.
3.Electric
Grills–
Electric Grills are more suitable if you live in the city where it is
prohibited to use a traditional charcoal nor gas grills. Some of them
do come portable.
4.Portable
Grills–
If you love to travel but want to have grilled food on-demand,
portable grills are great. They are small, lightweight and are easy
to use. Some models can be powered by either gas or charcoal. The
only problem is that you won’t be able to cook a large amount of
food at the same time.
The
next one on your list is to figure out what size of grill you need?
You can determine this through its cooking area. The cooking area is
expressed in square inches (sq. in.). If you are cooking for yourself
or with a small household, a great grill can have a 100-400 sq. in.
of cooking space will suffice while a medium-sized household can be
comfortable with a grill of around 400-500 sq. in. of cooking space.
Large families or restaurants should be looking for a grill that has
a cooking space of around 550-650 sq. in. which makes it comfortable
with cooking many dishes all at the same time.
